Weekend Guide to South Jersey Art Scene

Enjoy our world-renowned glass museum. Stroll through the cutest towns to see unique sculptures. Catch a concert at an outdoor venue. These are just a few of the enriching experiences you can find in our weekend guide to South Jersey Arts!

DAY 1

Start off the weekend in Moorestown at The Cubby Hole. A homey breakfast and lunch restaurant that showcases work from local artists – bonus points if you stop in some boutiques along their main street! Then head over to Collingswood to visit the various galleries on Haddon Ave! Including: MK Apothecary, Arts Plus Gallery, and Powell Lane Arts. After a long day of art-browsing, June BYOB will be the perfect meal to end the day, a traditional french restaurant with modern influences.

DAY 2

For day two, we highly recommend checking out the Art Scene of Pitman. All nestled within a few block radius, perfect for those of us who would rather not travel too far! Start the day at the Pitman Farmers Market for local produce and hand-crafted goods. Then head to MILKWEED Table + Market, a boutique brunch restaurant. Then walk just across the street to Pitman Historical Museum, which celebrates the rich history of the town. Head a short walk away to Sofia’s Fine Art Gallery to check the local artists’ work. By then you’ll definitely be ready for some pizza, and Pizzeria Manninos will have you covered.

DAY 3

You can’t visit Pitman without going to the Heritage Glass Museum! A non-profit that collects, preserves and curates historic southern New Jersey glass, artifacts, photographs, and documents. Next drive over to Haddonfield for a lovely meal at Cafe Lift. Then take the self-guided Haddonfield walking tour, which can be found here. End the weekend with an epic show at the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion! South Jersey premier waterfront music venue!
