You’re sure to get a mix of memories as you take in the fruits of fine food and drink, expansive local wildlife, and historic sites as you wander through the Outer Coastal Plain AVA wine region.

Hancock House

The site of the Hancock Bridge Massacre of 1778, where Major John Graves Simcoe led 300 British soldiers and Queen’s Rangers to surround and surprise members of the local militia, along with Judge Hancock. The Hancock House can be found on the National Register of Historic Places and is a must-see for history buffs.
