Paulsboro Revolution 250
Bring the whole family for a day of history, food and fun!
The Paulsboro Revolution 250 will commemorate the 250th anniversary of the
First Federal Land Purchase. The purchase of 96 acres of land in what is now
Paulsboro took place on July 5, 1776. The purchase was actually authorized
by the Continental Congress of July 4, 1776. Start the day with the Commemoration program, or enjoy a living history to follow. The day will be full of kids activities, and opportunities to participate including an Invocation, public reading of Declaration of Independence , reenactment of signing , Native American blessing. Musket drills, needlework display, demonstration by 1st Rhodesia Island Regiment/African Americans and much more.
