The original Broadway production of this musical opened on April 8, 2018, and ran for 804 performances, before closing as COVID-19 hit on March 11, 2020, and was nominated for 12 Tony Awards. This musical, which features such great songs as “Apex Predator”, “Revenge Party”, “Fearless”, and “I See Stars”, is appropriate for audience members of all ages. Mean Girls JR. is also the musical that MTC will be bringing to the national Jr. Theater Festival (JTF) in Atlanta in January 2024. Leading the Directing Teams for both the NJ and GA productions are MTC Founding Producing Artistic Director Mark Morgan (Director), MTC Founding Managing Director Carol Ann Murray (Vocal Director), and MTC Veteran and former Eagles Cheerleader Julia McDonald (Choreographer).
