Burlington County Historical Society & Museum
Since 1915, we have served Burlington County residents and visitors, acquiring and preserving historical artifacts and buildings, encouraging research and study, offering tours and educational programs. BCHS is a vital educational resource for county educational institution, local and county government representatives, area businesses and scholars nationwide. The campus of the Burlington County Historical Society is made up of the Bard How House (home of the How Family at Home interactive exhibit, the James Fenimore Cooper birthplace, the Captain Lawrence birthplace and the Corson Poley Center (home to the Delia Biddle Pugh Research Library and the Society’s museum galleries.
